Dr. Dimitris Tsiourvas tsiourvas<at>chem.demokritos.gr Dimitris Tsiourvas, was born in 1962, in Larissa, Greece, and did his undergraduate studies in chemical engineering at the National Technical University of Athens and his Ph. D. in NCSR “Demokritos” (1992) with Dr. C. M. Paleos in the area of polymeric liquid crystals. He worked in the Plastics Processing Industry for several years. Since 1995 he is a research scientist at NCSR “Demokritos”. His current research interests include synthetic and physicochemical aspects of liquid crystals, functionalized dendrimers and molecular recognition in organized assemblies. |
